Participants develop and manage the network infrastructure commons to achieve social objectives.[1]
- Community networks are not clubs, closed groups, to self-provide their own connectivity, but they are commons infrastructures that are open to anyone in the community. Anyone is welcome to participate to, or benefit from, the commons according to the access and participation rules.[2]
